CloudOne to Offer RAVEN in IBM Rational Cloud Solutions

Ravenflow, the leader in visual requirements and business process definition software, and CloudOne today announced that CloudOne will OEM the RAVEN software to include RAVEN Visual Analyzer as part of its cloud-based deployments of the IBM Rational requirements platform.

“Our unique combination of SaaS or cloud-based delivery of software from our data center speeds the deployment of IBM Rational requirements solutions with no up-front capital investments, allowing customers to ‘pay as you go’ through a monthly subscription model. This saves money on infrastructure, staffing and configuration costs, while facilitating the move to cutting-edge IBM Rational technology and distributed, collaborative development,” said Jim Bentz, VP Sales and Marketing for CloudOne. “Ravenflow’s award-winning RAVEN Visual Analyzer for IBM Rational Requirements Composer is a natural extension of the Rational toolset, adding advanced capabilities for requirements analysis and visualization.”

“We are very pleased that CloudOne is extending its cloud offerings of Rational Requirements Composer to include RAVEN Visual Analyzer for every user,” said Susan Boers, President and CEO of Ravenflow. “This offers a more complete requirements solution by ensuring that use cases and process flows are clear, complete, and error-free before development begins.”

“The new RAVEN Visual Analyzer plug-in to IBM Rational Requirements Composer provides customers with a well integrated and comprehensive requirements definition solution. We look forward to working with CloudOne and Ravenflow to help optimize the delivery of IBM Rational software as a service,” said Ashok Reddy, director, product delivery for requirements, quality and security, IBM Rational.

Based upon patented language processing technology, Ravenflow’s RAVEN allows business people to describe their needs in plain English, then automatically identifies missing requirements while generating visual process and use case diagrams that all stakeholders can understand. With its distinctive business orientation and process-based approach to requirements definition, RAVEN is uniquely suited for use on both enterprise process improvement and application development projects.

Ravenflow is the leading provider of visual requirements definition software that allows companies to gain better insight, clarity, and quality in their process improvement and application development projects. Leveraging a uniquely business-driven and process-based approach, Ravenflow transforms requirements definition by empowering business analysts to rapidly produce clear specifications of their business process workflows, business use cases, and business application needs. Ravenflow recently was named the fastest growing company in the Requirements market, received the 2009 Jolt Productivity Award and the 2009 IBM Rational Partner of the Year Award, and was selected as a Gartner “Cool Vendor in Application Development.”
