iSheriff Announces Global Cloud-Based Security Network

Submitted by on June 1, 2010 – 10:04 amNo Comment

Internet cloud security vendor iSheriff Ltd today announced the deployment of its global Web and email security service network. iSheriff is initially deploying managed services on carrier-grade server infrastructure across 19 cities worldwide. iSheriff says it is now able to support clients almost anywhere in the world, including mobile users travelling to foreign countries.

“Our goal has always been to make iSheriff services available worldwide. With this rollout we are able to offer fast, reliable and effective Web and email security services across six continents,” said iSheriff CEO, Oscar Marquez.

The company says it services are now available across Europe, Asia, South America, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Africa. iSheriff announced that it will also be able to offer accelerated Web security services in 12 primary countries, including the USA, UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brazil, France and Germany, alleviating any concerns that clients may have of reduced Web performance with iSheriff’s real-time Web protection in place.

“Because of the way our global network is structured, we are automatically able to connect clients to their closest available iSheriff server, ensuring that they receive the best possible security and performance. The network has the added benefit of enabling mobile clients to roam internationally and have their policy settings follow them around the world. A client’s remote users can travel to other cities or countries and still receive the same protection and service,” continued Mr. Marquez.

iSheriff says that with the international rollout of its services, it is now seeking to grow its channel partner network. iSheriff is actively recruiting channel partners across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australia. After receiving significant interest in Africa and the Middle East, iSheriff says that those are other markets they are now seeking to expand also.

“As a channel focused vendor we offer excellent margins, full technical training and extensive sales and lead generation support. We are looking for partners who are experienced in selling Internet security solutions, have close client relationships and are willing to work with us to develop the technical knowledge of their sales engineers and marketing programs,” said Marquez.

The iSheriff Global Security Network includes data centres in:
NORTH AMERICA: Los Angeles, San Jose, Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Ashburn, New York
SOUTH AMERICA: Lima, Sao Paulo
EUROPE: London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam
ASIA: Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore
AUSTRALIA: Sydney
AFRICA: Cape Town
