SiteGround web hosting company announced that it has partnered with 2Checkout – a well-known provider of online credit card processing services. As a result of this partnership SiteGround customers will be able to set up for free an account with 2Checkout and start accepting online payments through their websites.
SiteGround (SiteGround.com) is specialized in providing ecommerce hosting for small and medium businesses and now maintains more than 250,000 domains. It offers a value package that includes multiple free resources to help the setup and development of an online business like free shopping cart, free advertising credits, free domain and now a free payment processing account. “A big percentage of the websites we host are business oriented. However, many of them initially believe it’s difficult to start accepting payments online given high entry barriers in terms of fees and volume requirements that most processors have.” says Dima Peteva, coordinator of the project. “As a result of this partnership with 2Checkout, we believe that more of our customers will find it easier to setup their stores to process transactions.”
2Checkout offers an easy start to new merchants with lower entry barriers and now free account setup is available for SiteGround customers.
