HostDime Launches Latin America Division

HostDime announced the opening of HostDime Latin America, the company’s eighth international division and third in South America. Despite the global recession, HostDime continues to grow at its fastest pace ever.

The new division will primarily focus on Latin American countries not served by other HostDime divisions, including Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela. It will offer native Spanish support and sales for all the Spanish speaking people in Latin America who seek web hosting services. HostDime also operates international divisions in Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico.

HostDime Latin America’s hosting services will be billed in the United States dollar, since the USD currency is widely recognized in those countries and as a new service, Western Union payments as an option. Since Western Union is readily available and highly used in Latin America it will be an easy option to sign up for services for anyone who may not have a credit card. Technical support will be provided out of HostDime’s Mexico and Colombia division, providing Spanish language support and sales. Servers will be hosted in HostDime Florida, USA datacenter which has a private dark fiber connection to Miami. This was added recently before the HostDime Latin America services launched in an effort to bring the fastest routing to all traffic for HDLA’s new customers all over Latin America and abroad.

HostDime Latin America will provide a range of hosting services, including shared hosting, reseller hosting, Virtual Private Servers, dedicated hosting, and media content streaming hosting (high bandwidth).

“We have been quite explicit in our intentions to make HostDime a global, international hosting leader. Our rate of growth continues to increase, and in the past three years alone, we’ve opened up six international divisions and expanded into several dozen countries. The launch of HostDime Latin America is our effort to capture significantly more of the South American market,” said Usman Arshad, director of Business Development at HostDime.
Earlier this month, HostDime launched HostingCure, an effort to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. HostingCure will also offer free Web hosting to any federally recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit cancer organization in the United States or similar organization worldwide.
