ByteGrid has acquired its first asset, an 11-acre, ultra-secure “financial grade” data center campus located in Silver Spring, Maryland, in a sale/leaseback transaction with a Fortune 50 financial institution.
This 214,000 square foot mission critical facility, strategically located within close proximity to Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia, includes over 90,000 square feet of conditioned raised floor and a separate, secure 13,000 square foot bunker, all with over 9 megawatts of power. The facility is partially occupied by the financial institution.
