InterNetX protects valuable domains against unwanted access with DomainSafe

The successful domain management software AutoDNS 3.0, long since a well-known name in the domain branch, especially the B2B area, has gained yet another feature. With the newly developed DomainSafe, domain owners can now feel more reassured when facing the dangers of unwanted access by third parties. InterNetX holds the valuable domains in a virtual safe, where they are protected by multiple layers of security and locked with a PIN/TAN system – optimal protection against unwanted third-party access.

DomainSafe gives domain owners at InterNetX the opportunity to keep their domains under the ten popular TLDs .DE (DENIC), .COM, .NET, .NAME, .TV (VeriSign), .ORG (PIR), .INFO (Afilias), .MOBI (dotMobi), .BIZ (NeuStar) and .ASIA (DotAsia) secure in a virtual safe. The central key to the security procedure is the comprehensive authentification process. In order to make any changes to a protected domain, multiple, personalized verification steps are required. A domain order can only be initiated with a TAN process.

The security system behind DomainSafe doesn’t only prevent accidental changes to domain data. The new application also protects domains against illegal access. Integrated into the InterNetX domain management software AutoDNS 3.0, the new feature offers proactive domain protections, bringing domain owners benefits that can pay off.
