LSI Corporation announced that the LSITM SAS6160 switch has been selected as a finalist for the 2010 Storage magazine/SearchStorage.com Products of the Year Awards. The LSI SAS6160 is the industry’s first 6Gb/s SAS switch. The 2010 Products of the Year finalists are selected by the editors of SearchStorage.com and Storage magazine, storage industry experts and storage users. The LSI SAS6160 switch is one of six finalists in the Networking Equipment category, which covers switches, host bus adapters, network interface cards, virtualization appliances, security devices and caching appliances. The winners in each category will be announced in the February issue of Storage magazine.
