Verio Inc., the leading provider of online business solutions to SMBs worldwide, including web hosting, application hosting and Software as a Service (SaaS), today announced the launch of a new viaVerio Partner Advisory Council (PAC) for 2011.
First established in 2004, the Verio PAC is comprised of Resellers and Solution Providers that serve as the representative body of the viaVerio Partner Community. Through an interactive forum in collaboration with Verio Channel leadership, the Council is focused on providing direct input into the strategic direction of the viaVerio Partner Program and those initiatives that best support partner growth. Verio leverages this feedback in multiple areas of their business including: New Product offerings and Enhancements, Sales and Support Tools, Market Requirements and more. In addition, to regular meetings, Council members will also provide direction on partner “Programs” as well as develop “Best Practice Guides” and whitepapers, which will serve to further educate the entire viaVerio partner base. This new group brings extensive experience to the PAC and represents the wide range of Verio Solutions, geographic markets and key industry segments in which the company operates.
Also new to this year’s PAC is the introduction of an Independent Facilitator led by Larry Walsh. Walsh is one of the most recognizable figures in the IT channel and is considered one of the more forward-thinking leaders in the industry. He currently leads The 2112 Group and is an award-winning technology journalist and publisher having served as the Editor of VARBusiness and Publisher of Channel Insider. The industry experience and expertise Walsh brings will focus on fueling growth for Verio and its partners.
