London Data Exchange (LDeX), providers of carrier neutral colocation data centres in London, has today announced the completion date for the latest expansion phase at its LDeX1 data centre. This expansion will bring online a further 3,500sq ft of colocation space in North West London and will be completed and ready for occupation by 31st May 2013.
The privately owned 22,000sqft carrier neutral colocation facility, LDeX1, is located within the M25 at the foot of the M1 near Staples Corner in close proximity to the A5, the M25, and the M4. The Northern and Jubilee lines offer immediate public transport links from the City.
Clients can take colocation footprints ranging from quarter racks up to secure multi-rack caged private areas with up to 10kW power and cooling capacity per rack. Redundant power protection systems deliver UPS backed N+N diverse power supplies to every rack location. Mains power to the site is generated from 100% renewable sources and the site benefits from multiple diversely routed mains feeds to the on-site high voltage substation. Being carrier neutral the data centre offers a range of connectivity options to other leading data centres and multiple options for internet connectivity from straightforward IP Transit to dark fibre services from multiple providers. www.londondataexchange.net
